NORDIC BUSINESS AND DESIGN CASE COMPETITION
The aim of the competition was to carve out the multi-dynamic strategy of Finland’s top organizations in industries such as e-commerce, food, med-tech, smart technology, retail, IT, and health. The connection between design and trade was approached from the fashion, health technology, digital services as well as service design perspectives.
The competition was organized in the top universities across Southeast Asian countries reaching 37 teams, and more than 200 students. The teams studied real-life cases for Finnish partner companies producing go-to- market strategies and customer analyzes responding each company’s unique needs.
The winning teams of Nordic Business and Design Case Competition 2017 have been released, read more about them here. Each winning team will attend the Design Drives Business seminar on 31 st of August in Valkoinen Sali, Helsinki and share their strategies and analyzes.
Here are some thoughts of the winners of the Business Case –competition.
If we have to describe the competition in three words, it would be : Creative – Teamwork – Fun. While discussing and completing two business cases with high pressure in term of time and the difficulty level, our team tried many approaches to work in a productive matter and of course, enjoy the journey. Competing with students around ASEAN gives us a chance to truly understand our abilities. Moreover, being a part of Design Case Competition 2017, we have a precious chance to research about Finland and life-of- choice products. Yes, it’s definitely a MUST-TRY- CHALLENGE. Again, from bottom of our hearts, thank you Design Finland 100.
The next Nordic Business and Design Case Competition will be organized in 2018.
